We are a small, close-knit team who love animals above all else. Polly's Pet Care Services started in Chislehurst in 2008, founded by Polly herself – a devoted animal lover who left a city career to follow her true calling.
Polly had a gift with animals. Every creature she cared for flourished under her watch. She grew the business into an award-winning pet care service trusted by hundreds of families across Chislehurst and South East London.
Polly sadly passed away in 2020. Her trusted colleague Samantha, who had worked alongside her for 7 years, made the decision to continue the business in Polly's name – as a tribute to her legacy and a continuation of the exceptional care she stood for.
Today, Polly's Pet Care is Awarded Best Dog Walking Company in London 2024/25, and continues to provide the same heartfelt, professional care that Polly would have been so proud of.
Sam is a dedicated animal lover who grew up surrounded by dogs (Weimaraners, Dobermanns, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Labradors and Jack Russells), cats, parrots, ferrets, tortoises, geckos, bearded dragons and an iguana!
Sam spent 7 years working as Polly's assistant manager and, when Polly passed away in 2020, she took on the responsibility of keeping Polly's Pet Care going. Sam is responsible for all day-to-day operations and leads every aspect of the service we provide.
Sam is the proud owner of two black Labradors called Kira and Dexter, and also has three cats and three ferrets who all live harmoniously together!
Polly established Polly's Pet Care Services in Chislehurst in 2008, leaving behind a city career to follow her true love for animals. Her passion knew no limits – she adored horses, dogs, cats, goats and every creature she ever met.
When Polly got her beloved dog Maggie, she began a career in dog training and behaviour, gaining multiple qualifications and building a reputation for exceptional care across the local community.
When she later moved to Gloucestershire, she trusted Sam to continue running Polly's Pet Care. She set up another service locally there too – loved just as much. Polly sadly passed away in 2020, but her knowledge, values and love for animals live on in everything we do today.
Every walk we take, every pet we care for – we do it in her name. 🐾
